Data Accuracy & Layout
Keeping your database up to date and clean is critical for obvious reasons. To maximize your mailing dollars you do not want to mail to incorrect or out of date addresses. We can help you keep your database current with a number of tools and processes.
- Duplicate elimination - removes duplicates from your mailing list based on name, address or both.
- NCOA - National Change of Address. If someone on your list has moved and registered that move with Canada Post, we can update your database with their new address.
- Address Accuracy - We run ALL our customers databases through this process which compares your addresses with the Canada Post address list and makes corrections where possible to ensure the highest possible delivery rate.
Also, the layout of your data is very important to the versatility of it's uses. For example if your data has the entire name 'Mr. John Sample' in one field it makes it very difficult to create a personalized letter salutation. Whereas, if you had the different elements of the name in separate fields, you have a great deal of flexibility in what you can do with that data. You can address the piece to 'Mr. John Sample' and have a salutation line of 'Dear Mr. Sample' or even 'Dear John'.
